Yup, you read that right. I came across these monstrosities on
sticks on The
Last Appetite blog. It's essentially hot dog or bacon coated in
batter with French fries glued to the meat, then refried to a
golden perfection. You're either going to be disgusted or
intrigued. I confess I fall into the latter camp.
Being a die-hard lover of fries (
my guilty food pleasure), this is my idea of snack heaven. Just
look how golden, crispy and delicious the
French fry coated hot dog and
bacon look. Come on admit it, they look kind of good, don't
they?
Now here's the pressing question: If you had to choose between
eating a French fry coated hot dog or French fry coated bacon,
which would you pick? I would understand, and probably
respect you more, if you said no to both. But if forced to
choose, I'd pick the French fry coated hot dog smeared with lots of
ketchup.
How about you? Which one of these bad boys would you
eat? If you say neither, you're a better person than I'll
ever be.
