Yes, it's true. We'll be giving our unique Canuck twist to the
insanely popular Top Chef series. Top Chef
Canada will premiere next spring. (Be sure to check
the site for latest updates regarding casting, behind-the-scene
shenanigans and what have you.)
We're pretty darn excited here and our Director of Original
Production, Leslie Merklinger, wants you to join
in on the excitement. How? Just watch the video below.
So there you have it. What challenges do you want to see on Top
Chef Canada?
I've got a few ideas. I'm thinking of a challenge where chefs have
to incorporate back bacon in to a
dessert. (Yes, I am bacon-obsessed). Or having
them prepare an aphrodisiacal dinner using native ingredients --
bannock bread, pemmican (dried
meat mixture), buffalo meat, wild
turnips and so one. Or getting their gourmet take
on poutine?
But I'm sure you have plenty more and we want to hear them all.
