To help us get inspired to try new cuisines from around the
world, Roger Mooking, host of Everyday Exotic, shares his delicious
adventures and notes from across the globe. We'll be rolling them
out every Wednesday, so be sure to check back to find out where
Roger's food adventures takes him to next.
Atlantic City is the Vegas of the North Eastern
United States. It's home to big hotels, casinos, parties and good
old fashioned debauchery. So it goes without saying that one of the
most legendary food spots in this city has to live up to the "go
big or go home" mentality.

The restaurant is called White House and on the
walls are pics of many celebrity guests, from Julius Erving,
Guy Fieri and The Roots, to Tiny Tim and so many more.
The walls are literally covered with photos of famous folks who
make this spot a must stop when visiting this city. One of the
people I'm here with used to drive from New York City just to pick
up some White House take-out (that's a 3 hour drive!). The lineup
usually goes down the block and can take up to an hour and a half.
All that hype for a submarine sandwich is a bit shocking, but it
was pretty good and it put me straight to sleep.
