New Year's Eve has come and gone, but we've got more excuses to
cook up a spontaneous celebration this month. If you've always wanted to tackle a legendary turducken recipe but never had the occasion to indulge, we say that's a dish best served with National Bird Day! Get baking for the chocolate cake lover in your life on the 27th, and round off the holiday season with Chinese New Year on the 31st.
2014 is kicking off with premieres of Canada's favourite foodie shows. If a viewing party isn't a great excuse to gather and gobble, we don't know what is! So send out your save-the-dates for new episodes of awesome Food Network shows on:
January 6: Rachael vs. Guy Celebrity Cook-off
January 8: Iron Chef America
January 9: Mystery Diners
January 10: Food Factory
January 12: The Kitchen
You'll be glued to the tube in January, starting with the launch of Chopped Canada tonight at 10 PM.
Here's to starting the new year off deliciously right!
