Connoisseur and seasoned gourmet Susan Sterling (Tasty Award winner 2009) hosts Grape Notes, Foodnetwork.ca’s brand new, daily, digital guide for wine lovers. Currently heading into production, this comprehensive series of snappy, online vignettes offers Susan's top tips and expertise to help viewers choose wine for every discerning palate, culinary combination and occasion.

Susan is a certified wine expert and most recently hosted the award-winning online show, www.nakedwineshow.com winner of the Tasty Awards' Best Critic or Review Series. The series launched in 2008 and recently celebrated its 100th episode.

Fluent in English, French, and German, Susan first discovered her passion for fine wines while leading cycling tours throughout Western Europe for a Paris-based bike trip company. Upon her return to Canada, Susan landed the position of Sales Representative with Andrew Peller Limited, the largest Canadian-owned wine company in Canada. This allowed her the opportunity to increase her knowledge base, while studying for, and attaining, Intermediate, Advanced, and Diploma certificates from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) in the UK. Requirements for these qualifications include knowledge of viticulture and vinification; typical characteristics shown by wines from all major producing regions; and the business side of wine and spirits.

Susan holds an Honours degree in Comparative Literature and French from McMaster University.
