DIY: Candy Cane Crafts
Create a festive tablescape with the holiday season’s classic treat.
Project #1: Candy Cane Vase
This easy candy cane vase with gorgeous fresh-cut flowers is the perfect holiday table centerpiece.
Vase, fresh cut flowers, candy canes, hot glue gun + glue, satin ribbon, scissors, broach or small decorative item (optional).
STEP 1: Candy Canes
Use your hot glue gun to glue the candy canes onto the outside of the vase, aligning the top of the candy cane’s arch with the top of the vase.
STEP 2: Broach
Pin the broach onto a piece of satin ribbon that’s long enough to wrap around the entire vase with a few inches to spare.
STEP 3: Ribbon
Wrap the ribbon around the vase and secure the two ends with a glue gun at the back.
Project #2: Candy Cane Candle Holder
Fabulously festive candy cane candle holders will keep spirits bright, so you can celebrate Christmas all night.
Candy canes, hurricane candle holder, candle, hot glue gun + glue, thick satin ribbon, scissors.
STEP 1: Glue
Use your hot glue gun to glue the candy canes onto the outside of the candle holder. Line the candy canes around the vase leaving about half and inch between the top of the candy cane’s arch and the top of the vase.
STEP 2: Ribbon
Tie a bow around the candy canes with satin ribbon.
Project #3: Candy Cane Stir Stick
Chocolate and sprinkle-coated candy canes take an already lip-smacking candy cane martini recipe to the next level.
Candy cane martini recipe, candy canes, chocolate, sprinkles, baking sheet pan, parchment paper.
STEP 1: Candy Coating
Cover baking pan with parchment paper. Melt chocolate in a double boiler. Coat the bottom half of the candy canes in melted chocolate and dip in sprinkles. Place on parchment paper and let chocolate coat harden. Once dry, garnish your martini!
