Igor migrated to Canada in 1999 and quickly built a successful business as a contractor. His knowledge, quick wit, and back talk to the designers have made him a favourite with viewers of Restaurant Makeover all over the world. Over the last 80 episodes, viewers have come to know him as the sometimes gruff but always entertaining Igor who “knows it all”. No matter what problem arises in the insane six-day makeover, Igor always finds a solution, even if it’s not always to the liking of the designer.
