Eat St. is a lip-smacking celebration of North America's tastiest, messiest, and most irresistible street food. From Tijuana-style tacos served out of an Airstream trailer and pizzas baked in a brick oven on wheels to classic hot dogs with all the fixings and sirloin burgers slathered in bacon jam - food cart fare is the hottest trend going. The stars of the show are the vendors – food mavericks with creative takes on mobile meals and inspiring stories to tell. Seeking out the very best curbside eats all over North America, Eat St. is your grease-stained roadmap to the ultimate street food experience. Comedian James Cunningham hosts the series.
First up, we say aloha to the 808 Grinds truck in Portland for some delicious Hawaiian food. Serving up Loco Moco, Fried Chicken and Spam Musabi, it’s like a vacation for your taste buds. Then we race over to Indianapolis to the Scratch truck where everything is made from Scratch like their Grilled Cheese featuring red wine braised short rib, caramelised onions and arugula. Next, we hot foot it over to Houston to the St John’s Fire truck for some smokin’ good fish dishes like a Shrimp Corn Dog and Seafood Martini with marinated veggies, fresh shrimp and crawfish. Finally, we ride into Louisville to Mozza Pi to experience the best wood fired, artisan pizzas off the back of a truck from the coolest guy in cowboy hat. Good enough for at least two yee-haas.
At the Dock ‘n Roll Diner in Austin, Texas, two best buddies are whippin’ up handheld seafood classics with a southern flair. Monster Maine Lobster Rolls and Stacked Shrimp Po’ Boys with Habanero Remoulade sauce are two top tasty options. Next, anything goes at the Carte Blanche trailer in Portland, Oregon; try their Coconut Shrimp with an Apricot Bourbon Sauce or a Fried Banana Shrimp Sandwich with Peach Coleslaw. Then, we’re in Louisville, Kentucky at The Grind Truck for gourmet melted Brie and Bacon Burgers or Spanish Burgers with Tapas Toppings. Final stop is in Vancouver, BC where Le Tigre truck’s modern Asian cuisine has the locals going wild. Favourites include Deep Fried Beet Fries, Sake infused Rice Bowls with Poached Egg and Pork Belly, and a Roast Chicken Sandwich with sesame chili sauce and fresh greens.
First up we’re cruisin’ to Orange County, California for sizzlin’ Singaporean fusion at the Chomp Chomp truck where best-sellers include a Spicy Soft Shell Crab Sandwich with Lemongrass Vinaigrette and Japanese Sweet-Potato Chips. Next we’re curbside in Toronto, Ontario for the best barbeque in the city, at the Hogtown Smoke truck where you can get a Smoked Beef Brisket “Po’ Boy” with caramelized onion & horseradish aioli and a Carolina Pulled Pork Sandwich with Root Beer Baked Beans and a cornbread doughnut. Then in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania we’re treated to mouth-watering, eclectic comfort food courtesy of the Vernalicious truck. Fan favourites include a Vietnamese Spicy Chicken Bahn Mi Sandwich with Daikon Radish and Jalapeños. And finally we pull up alongside the Purple People Eatery in Miami, Florida where two chefs are serving up a Bison Burger with truffle oil & quail’s egg and a Ceviche Salad with Octopus and Dragon Fruit.
First up we’re cruisin’ to Calgary, Alberta for fresh, authentic Indian cuisine to go with the Naaco Truck! Part Naan, part Taco, Naaco’s Spicy Beef Vindaloo with Goat Yogurt Chutney and Corn Shoots is all delicious! Next we’re curbside in Toronto, Ontario for smokin’ hot barbecue at the Hank Daddy’s cart where you can get a Smoked, Pulled Pork Parfait with mashed potatoes ‘n gravy. Then we roll to Miami, Florida for jaw-dropping Grilled Cheese sandwiches, courtesy of the Ms. Cheezious truck! Fan favourites include a homemade Waffle and Fried Chicken Melt with country sausage gravy and even a creamy Havarti and Cinnamon-Spiced Apple Dessert Sandwich! And finally The Scratch Truck is delivering savoury Asian-styled sandwiches to streets of Minneapolis, Minnesota all made from scratch.
First up we’re in Vancouver, British Columbia where the Fresh Local Wild trailer is the catch of the day serving up a loaded Seafood Chowder Poutine, Chicken Fried Oyster Po’ Boy and a Fish Shawarma with grilled halibut, salmon and lingcod. Next we head to the Chef Shack in Minneapolis, Minnesota for some crunchy comfort food like a Tempura Battered Herring Sandwich with homemade tartar sauce on a toasted baguette or Pulled Pork Nachos with poblano corn salsa and fresh guacamole. Then we drive over to Dallas, Texas where the Good Karma truck is feeding the bellies and souls of it’s customers with vegetarian dishes like a Margherita flatbread pizza with housemade dough and marinara sauce, provolone cheese and sundried tomato, or their Teriyaki rice bowl with steamed brown rice and mixed veggies. And finally Eat St. pulls up in Orange County, California for sumptuous sliders courtesy of The Flip Truck. Favourites include Seared Ahi Tuna with macadamia coconut spread and fresh pineapple and a Kobe Beef with Aged Cheddar and Peppery Arugula.
In Portland, Oregon The Dump Truck has overturned expectations of the traditional Chinese dumpling by stuffing them with tasty American Classics like a Bacon Cheeseburger, Eggplant Lasagna and even good ol fashioned Apple Pie. We then cruise to Indianapolis, Indiana for muy bueno Mexican Korean tacos at the West Coast Taco’s truck. Fan favorites include the spicy Red Chili Chicken and a Tempura Battered Tilapia with firey asian slaw! Next, we visit San Antonio, Texas for gourmet international cuisine at The Duk Truck. Featuring Duck Confit Tacos and a Thai Red Curry with jumbo lump crab. Lastly, we get all fired up for Firemen Derek’s Pies in Miami, Florida. Fresh squeezed Key Lime, Chocolate Caramel Flan and a New York Style Cheesecake with housemade Strawberry Sauce are just three of the hottest choices.
Lucky’s Puccias in Austin Texas is our first course featuring yummy Italian sandwiches like their Hot Pastrami and Puccia Contadina stuffed with turkey provolone, arugula, tomato and a housemade olive tapenade. Then we make a beeline to the Honey Pot truck in Portland for some sweet and savoury pies. A trip to San Francisco follows where we dine out at the Phat Thai truck, sampling authentic Pad Thai, Som Tum Salad and Pad Kee Mao also known as ‘Drunken Noodles’ a perfect hangover recipe, allegedly. Finally, it’s all aboard Puckett’s Trolley in Nashville for some southern style comfort food. Serving Shrimp and Grits Hush Puppies, Brisket Chimichanga and Catfish Tacos, this is definitely one streetcar named desire.
In San Francisco, California we knock on the door at Sam’s Chowder House for some of the freshest street food by the bay, like a tasty Maine Lobster Roll and a perfect Shrimp Po Boy. Next stop is Houston, Texas where the Waffle Bus is delivering no-nonsense Chicken & Waffles, a Smores Waffle and even a Strawberry Irish Crème Brûlée Waffle for those who dare. Then we rock up in Nashville, Tennessee at the Mere Bulles truck for a little taste of Southern Hospitality that includes a Macaroni and Cheese Burger and Blue Cheese Chips. Lastly it’s a pizza emergency in Las Vegas, Nevada where the Engine 1 fire truck is putting out hunger one pizza at a time with their Double Stuffed Pepperoni, Barbecue Chicken and yummy Desert varieties.
First up, there’s no monkeying around in Hamilton at the Gorilla Cheese truck, their ooey gooey sandwiches will make you go ape wild with delight. Then, we swing into Phoenix, Arizona for some gourmet hot dogs at the Short Leash truck, with menu items like The Aiko, a naan wrapped sausage topped with Mango Chutney or the 7th Innings Stretch, a spicy beer weiner topped with peanut butter, Cracker Jacks, bacon, smouked gouda and bbq sauce. Next we roll into Las Vegas for some tasty meatballs at the Haulin’ Balls truck. With dishes like a Zorba Ballwich, Blue Ball Special and a Porky, the odds of coming away fully satisfied are always in your favour. Finally we visit Nashville to eat at the Mas Tacos Por Favor truck. These tacos are anything but ordinary with varieities such as a Quinoa and Sweet Potato, Cast Iron Chicken or Baha style Tilapia Fish Taco any of which will have you asking for ‘more tacos please.’
In Miami, Florida we get a healthy dose of delicious at the Health Nut on Wheels truck where best sellers include a Maple-Dijon Salmon Filet on a mixed green bed. Next we hit the streets of Edmonton, Alberta for gourmet sandwiches at the Drift truck such as a Vietnamese Pork Belly with pickled carrots and daikon radish and a Caribbean Jerk Chicken with charred pineapple and lime coleslaw. Then we visit the Fogcutter truck in San Francisco, California for brunch done right. Featuring a French Toast Sandwich with fried egg, peanut butter sauce and maple bacon. Lastly we’re in San Antonio, Texas where the Society Bakery truck is bringing its sweet treats to the streets. Top sellers include a fluffy S’mores Cupcake and a Banana in Spiced Rum Sauce with Queso Fresco.
First up we’re in Edmonton, Alberta where The Act truck is putting on a culinary show of excellence. Here, you can dine on a Peanut Butter Cheese Burger with housemade Maple Bacon Jam or a Cajun Halibut Sandwich with fresh lemon dill coleslaw, all worth a standing ovation. Next we mosey over to Dallas, Texas where Jack’s Chowhound is wranglin’ up savoury southern style sandwiches such as a slow-cooked Pulled Pork Grilled Cheese with smoked gouda or Spicy Skirt Steak Sliders with fresh pico de gallo. Then we’re in Minneapolis, Minnesota where the Sassy Spoon is serving up healthy lunches with a side helping of attitude. Best sellers include a hearty Beef Stew with Creamy Cauliflower Mash and a Mixed Vegetable Hash with Shredded Sweet Potato and Chicken Andouille Sausage! Finally, we visit Miami, Florida where the Gastropod trailer is delivering hot haute cuisine curbside. Featuring Lamb Fennel Sausage Sliders with goat cheese and Moroccan hot sauce and a Nitro S’more cooked in liquid nitrogen with fresh raspberry, cilantro and homemade marshmallow cream to beat the heat!
In Vancouver BC, we get treated to Indian food fit for a Raj at Vij’s. Signature savoury dishes include a Spiced Lamb Kebab with Mint-Mango Chutney and balsamic onions wrapped in a fresh Naan and a Seared Halibut Cheek in Coconut Masala Curry on Basmati rice. Next we head to Dania Beach, Florida where the SFT Bistro truck has turned boring sandwiches into a thing of beauty. Bestsellers include the Shorty with beef short rib in a housemade veal stock and Queso Fresco - and a Fontina Grilled Cheese with heirloom tomato, bacon and truffle fries. Then we stop the presses in New York City with the Bongo Bros where authentic Cuban cuisine is making the headlines with family recipes like their Mojo Sandwich with citrus-marinated chicken breast and spicy, garlic mayo. And lastly we’re at the Osaka Soul trailer in Austin, Texas that has imported the traditional Japanese savoury pancake known as Okonomiyaki and have given it a “pizza pie” makeover.
First up, we cruise into San Francisco, California for all things Bacon at the aptly named Bacon Bacon Truck, so good they named it twice. Then we hit the the streets of Houston at the tastiest and only Vietnamese food truck in town, Phamily Bites, serving traditional dishes like a Pho Tai Noodle Soup in a beef brisket stock and a Seared Filet Mignon Bahn Mi Sandwich. Then we zip to Indianapolis, Indiana for the Mac Genie truck where everyone’s mac and cheese wishes come true, offering magical varieties such as steak, bacon and even a hearty, beer infused cheese sauce option. Last stop is in Houston, Texas to chow down at The Modular truck where curb side dining has truly evolved with delectable delights such as Whole Lobster with Risotto and even Roasted Bone Marrow.
First up we ride into Calgary, Alberta where The Mighty Skillet truck has put some punch into lunch with dishes like Eggs Benedict with Lemon Hollandaise on a bed of hand cut fries and a Maple Chili Pork Sausage Sandwich served on French toast. Next we sink our teeth into some global cuisine at The Bite Truck in Orange County, California sampling a decadent Filet Mignon Sandwich with blue cheese sauce and truffle fries and Jamaican Jerk Shrimp Tacos with mango habanero hot sauce & cotija cheese. Then we’re in Dallas, Texas for Vietnamese fusion courtesy of the Nammi truck where dishes include a loaded Bahn Mi Sandwich with Honey Barbecue Pork, Jalapeño and Fried Egg and Lemongrass Beef Sliders with Spicy Coleslaw on a Hawaiian roll. And finally we visit The Cinnamon Snail in New York City, New York for vegan dishes with an Asian twist like a wheat-free Korean Seitan Burger with housemade Kimchi and a spicy vegan mayo, it’s quite the mouthful!
First up we’re moseying into Austin, Texas for a Japanese twist on the classic American Hamburger. At Yumé Burger, you’ll need two hands for their Japajam with its fried egg crispy onions and Japanese barbecue sauce or their Oishi, featuring a tempura battered tilapia with wasabi coleslaw. Next in Minneapolis, Minnesota, a veteran chef is hand crafting astonishing dishes at The Gastro Truck. Specials include a Peruvian Alpaca Meatloaf Sandwich with a Goat Cheese and Tomato Fondue, and a B-BLT with Beer Braised Pork Belly and Pork Jowl Bacon! Then we sail into Toronto, Ontario for handheld seafood delights from the Busters Sea Cove truck such as a creamy Nova Scotian Lobster Roll or Beer Battered Fish & Shrimp Tacos. And finally we park up at the Soho Road Trailer in Vancouver, BC for traditional Tandoori Chicken and Mint-Infused Lamb Kebabs.
First up, Eat St rides into Miami, Florida to get our Mojo on the Go, a big eats truck from the Bayou serving up a ‘Gator Tail Basket, Curry Peanut Frog Legs and a mean Smoked Brisket Sandwich. Next we hop on over to Las Vegas, Nevada for some sumptuous Sliders from the Sliding Thru truck, where two hipsters reign supreme with tasty items like their Pulled Porky and a Pep Pep. Then we park up at Sanguchon in San Francisco, California for some 5 star Peruvian cuisine sampling Pollo a la Brasa and Lomo Saltado. Finally we high tail it to Phoenix, Arizona where the Hey Joe truck is bringing an arsenal of traditional Filipino cuisine to the streets firing off dishes such as Sizzling Pork Sisig, Deep Fried Pork Belly and even a unique Fertilized Duck Egg.
First up we’re truckin’ to Orange County, California for amazing Japanese style hot dogs with the Dogzilla Truck! Best sellers include the Dogzilla Dog with an all beef frank dressed to the nines in avocado, bacon & housemade teriyaki sauce and the Yaki Dog with cajun pork sausage, stir fried yakisoba noodles and ground aonori seaweed. Next, we visit Montreal, Quebec, where three refined gentlemen are bringing good ol’ messy Barbecue Sandwiches to the streets at the Pas d’cochon Dans Mon Salon truck. Then in Calgary, Alberta, a bad ass lil’ truck called Braizen is dish’n out big, flavourful, international cuisine that locals just can’t get enough of! Best sellers include Jerk Chicken Sliders with all the sweet heat of the islands. Final stop is in St. Paul, Minnesota at the Fork In The Road truck for warm and fuzzy comfort food on the go such as a Smokin’ Hot Buffalo Chicken Sandwich with Homemade Blue Cheese Dressing and a Spicy Pork Taco with Lime and Jalapeño Coleslaw.
We start the day in Portland, Oregon for some all day breakfast at the Fried Egg I’m In Love truck, serving up music inspired dishes like their Egg Zepplin, Yolk-O Ono and a Back in Black Bean sandwich. Then we visit Houston, Texas and lift the lid on The Rice Box for the tastiest Chinese take-out on wheels featuring General Tso Chicken and a Golden Doomba Special. Next it’s a trip to San Francisco, California to chow down at 3-Sum Eats whose mouth watering selection of appies, mains and deserts means one is never enough. Whether it’s Mac & Cheese Spring Rolls, a Cornflake Encrusted Chicken Sandwich or a Compost Cookie, good things certainly come in threes. Finally, we wrap things up in Nashville, Tennessee at the Wrappers Delight truck where a Hip-Hop inspired truck has pimped out its menu with Ginger-Glazed Chicken, Grilled Tilapia in Coconut Cream and even a Peanut Butter and Banana Wrap for all the sweet-tooth shorties out there.
First up, we trot on down to Vancouver, BC to the Pig on the Street truck for all things pork related. Sandwich specials include the Southern Piggy with housemade bourbon barbeque sauce and roasted peppers ‘n corn and the Porker with Goat Gouda cheese and apple ‘n sage sausage. Then we get a taste of Pakistan from the Rickshaw Stop in San Antonio, Texas where locals are going crazy for their Boti Tikka Chicken kabob. Next, we are in Miami, Florida for Cuban cuisine at the Cuban Cube truck sampling a Shrimp Ceviche served in a Fried Plantain Bowl, and a Garlic Flank Steak Sandwich with Fresh Pico De Gallo and Cilantro Mayonnaise. Lastly, we’re in Austin, Texas at the Ice Cream Social bus to try their supersized sundae, The Bajillionaire, featuring eight kinds of ice cream and enough toppings to fill a freezer.
First up we’re cruisin’ to Minneapolis, Minnesota for handheld seafood delights with the Smack Shack truck where you can dine on a New England-style Lobster Roll served with a creamy, lemon aioli on toasted milk bread or fresh-cut Mahi Mahi Tacos with Jalapeño and Spicy Mayo! Next we’re in the streets of Montreal, Quebec with the Nouveau Palais truck for gourmet burgers galore! Then we’re curbside in Miami, Florida for classic Italian comfort food at the Mangia Mia truck where best sellers include “The Smasher” meatball sandwich served on garlic toast with housemade marinara and a Fusilli Mac ‘n Cheese with six cheeses, bacon and toasted, herbed breadcrumbs! And finally the Zenbu cart in Portland, Oregon is hand crafting the tastiest sushi rolls in town. Signature dishes include the “Sellwood Roll” with tempura battered shrimp and seared ahi tuna and even a Soft Shell Crab Burger with crushed-chili fries and spicy mayo!
In Miami, Florida the Gypsy Kitchen truck is our first stop for some East Indian and Asian inspired treats, Maharani Paneer, Jammin Jerk Slider and a Krazy Kim’s Khim-chee Lo Mein are just some of the delights. Next we get stuck in to gourmet food on a stick in Houston at the appropriately named Stick It truck. Then we hit up Louisville and visit the Lil Cheezers truck for all your grilled cheese pleasures, The Plain Jane, Caprese and the Fancy Pants which is Brie, caramelized onions, granny smith apples and walnuts on thick cut wheatberry bread. Finally, we speed over to Indianapolis for some of this and some of that at the SOT SOT truck. Specialising in Creole Comfort food we’ll check out their Crawfish Po’Boy, Jambalaya and a Jerk Chicken with red beans and rice.
In San Antonio, Texas, we get our fill at the Say She Ate truck where locals are devouring Blue Cheese Sliders made with ultra-flavourful Japanese Akaushi beef. Next we’re in Dallas, Texas where the Greenhouse Truck is crafting dee-licious, made-from-scratch dishes that are good for ya too such as their Miso Steak Sandwich with walnut pesto. Then we stop off at Buzz N Beez in Phoenix, Arizona to sample the best southern fried chicken in the desert with Savoury Drumsticks and succulent Catfish Po’Boys. Lastly, we’re in New York, New York at the Okadaman truck where a savoury Japanese pancake from Osaka called “Okonomiyaki” is the star of the show, comprised of fried cabbage, squid and Nori seaweed.

Next we’re in the streets of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for savoury Asian sandwiches at the Foo Truck, featuring Lemon Grass Chicken with Daikon radish and peanuts, plus Beef Meatballs with ginger and water chestnut in a sweet soy glaze. Then we’re cruisin’ to Dallas, Texas for the best British bistro on wheels: the Three Lions truck serving up classic Fish ‘n’ Chips and tasty Meat Pies. And finally The Lime Truck brings internationally inspired handheld delights to the streets of Irvine, California such as a Mexican-themed Duck Confit Sope with Brie cheese, créme fraîche ‘n hot sauce and a Filipino inspired Pork Belly Adobo Taco with a tomatillo pico de gallo!
At the Rome ‘N Chariot truck in Mississauga, Ontario, a husband and wife team are bringing authentic Italian comfort food to the masses. Featuring Meatball Sliders with housemade marinara sauce and a loaded Porchetta Sandwich stuffed with Italian sausage. Then we travel to Indianapolis, Indiana where east meets west at the Spice Box truck. With Indian delights such as Chicken Tikka Masala and a Spicy Wrap with mint chutney, these guys put the Indian in Indiana. Next up is Molly’s Eats in Edmonton, Alberta where locals are lining up for a smorgasbord of international comfort food; Mac and Cheese with Pulled Pork & Bacon and a Columbian inspired platter with plaintains, pork belly and sausage. Lastly, we’re in Portland, Oregon where The PBJ’s Cart has redefined the classic sandwich. Tasty versions include Orange Marmalade and Thai Curry or Goat Cheese with Kalamata Olive bread.
First up we’re trucking to San Antonio, Texas for astonishing appetizers unlike any other, at the Tapa Tapa truck such as Duck Liver with Deep-fried Oatmeal Cookies and Eight-Cheese Mac & Cheese with cheese crackers. Then we’re curbside in Montreal, Quebec for gourmet tacos with all the trimmings, at the Grumman 78 truck including one with slow cooked turkey, housemade stuffing and apple cranberry jelly. Next, we check out the best middle eastern cuisine in Portland, Oregon at the Wolf and Bear’s cart. Featuring an Eggplant and Egg Sabich Breakfast Wrap and the rich and creamy Olea Wrap with Gorgonzola and Caramelized Walnuts. And finally it’s meatball mania at Marky Ramone’s Cruisin’ Kitchen in New York City where you can dine on Italian Blitzkrieg Balls covered in Marky’s own Marinara or a Buffalo Hot Wing Ball with Blue Cheese and Slaw.
First stop is Yum Town, USA in the heart of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where we sample from a tasty menu featuring slow-cooked Pulled Pork Sandwiches with Arugula Coleslaw and a “To’ Boy” Sandwich with spicy, deep-fried Tofu and Collard Greens. Next we cool off in Miami, Florida at the Dolci Pecatti truck where gelato flavors get all fired up; select from Mango Chili Lime, Peanut Butter & Cinnamon or a Spicy Strawberry Jalapeño amongst others. Then we roll into Portland, Oregon where savoury and spicy Korean Barbecue gets reimagined at the Koi Fusion truck. Sample their Kalbi Beef Short Rib Taco with Bean Sprouts and Pico De Gallo or Korean Bulgogi Beef Burrito with Spicy Pickled Cabbage and Salsa. And lastly we march into Toronto, Ontario where Fidel Gastro’s truck is revolutionizing the sandwich with deliciously unusual combinations! Custom made buns are stuffed with Spaghetti & Meatballs in a homemade marinara sauce or a Peanut Butter & Beer Braised Pork Shoulder with Bacon Jam.
First port of call is Cleveland, Ohio to meet the Dim and Den Sum truck for some tasty Asian American comfort food. Hot on the heels is a visit to a secret back alley in Calgary, Canada for ultimate urban delights at Alley Burger. Then the Eat St. truck treks across the Atlantic to visit London, England for a spicy Indian mouthful at a cart called Everybody Love Love Jhal Muri Express. And finally, we speed on over to Tampa, Florida to the Wicked ‘Witches truck who definitely know what side their bread’s buttered on.
Caplansky’s is our first stop, a Jewish deli truck out of Toronto, Ontario, serving up classics with a twist! We then cool things down at the Lake St Creamery who are serving up deliciously unique ice cream flavours including Home Made Donuts, Earl Grey Tea and even Whiskey. Next we rock up in Nashville, Tennessee for some original Mexican gourmet at the Yayo’s OMG truck. Topping off this episode, we go nuts for donuts in Austin, Texas at the Gourdough’s truck.
First stop is Gorilla Cheese in New York City, a truck who’s cheesy sandwiches stretch almost as long as their line-ups. Their Triple Cream Brie and Smoked Gouda will make you go ape for sure. From there we head to London, England to visit Eat My Pies, a stand that’s bringing back quality traditional food such as Pork Pies, Black Pudding Scotch Eggs and a royally good Custard Tart. Back across the Atlantic to Vancouver, BC to the Coma truck for narcoleptic nourishment that’s a fusion of Korean, Mexican and American. Final stop is in Cleveland, Ohio at the Nosh Box, a truck that brought their home made favourites to the street for all to enjoy such as their Double Wide Grilled Mac ‘n’ Cheese Sandwich and a Portobello Mushroom Burger.
In Baltimore, Maryland the king of food trucks is the Gypsy Queen, run by two former restaurant owners they are serving up eclectic eats such as a Soft Shell Crab BLT and Mac ‘n’ cheese stuffed into a waffle cone! From there Eat St. heats up as we visit Baby’s Badass Burgers in Los Angeles, California for some truly top shelf burgers with names like The Bombshell, The All American Girl and The Cougar. We then put the brakes on in Lansing, Michigan and enjoy some slow fast food at The Trailer Park’d truck, these guys smoke their locally sourced meats for hours every morning and their Smoked Chicken Fricassee-wich is certainly worth the wait. Final stop is in Rosemead California where we get a real kick out of the Truck Norris truck that serves up home-style Filipino cuisine such as their Ninja Shepherds Pie and Notorious R.I.B. that packs a real punch.
In Washington, DC we set our sights on DD Pies who are offering savoury and sweet pies. Then we’re trucking on up to Fries and Dolls in Calgary, Alberta where they are serving up tasty curbside treats named after female icons. Next up is a family affair at Papa Perrone’s in New York. Last but not least we drive to Tampa Bay to La Guaguita truck to feast of fine Puerto Rican food.
First up is a trip to Lansing, Michigan where we get tempted by the Purple Carrot truck, farm fresh feasting at its finest. Then we’re rolling into Miami, Florida for a quick Sugar Rush sampling Deep Fried Cupcakes and milkshakes with added cake! From there we head to San Francisco where an old school bus has been given a make-over, called Le Truc this is a mobile dining experience offering gourmet style street food to the hungry masses. Finally we stampede over to Calgary for some revolutionary curb side cuisine with the Perogy Boyz truck.
First up, we get some shockingly tasty treats at Ms P’s Electric Cock dishing up southern comfort food out of Austin, Texas. Next we truck on down to Tampa Bay, Florida and ride the Taco Bus. Then we drive into New York to visit Uncle Gussy’s, who makes Greek food fit for the gods. Portland is the final stop in this episode, pulling up at Lardo’s whose pork related menu will make you squeal with delight.
We begin by rolling into Los Angeles for a taste of Central America at Lidia’s Dominican Truck. Then we get globally inspired at the Gastronomo Vagabundo truck in Toronto, where world cuisine is fused into dishes that are out of this world. Next it’s a trip to Austin, Texas for some classic Fish ‘n’ Chips at the Bits & Druthers truck with fish coated in the crunchiest beer batter around. Finally we cap it all off with a trip to Washington, DC to meet and eat with The Fojol Brothers, a traveling carnival of Ethiopian inspired cuisine.
The P’nut Butter Bar in Los Angeles shows there’s more to life than the classic pb’n’j sandwich. Next is Snout and Co. in Seattle delivering comfort food drawn upon from Cuba to South Carolina. Then we visit Toronto to put in some quality eating time at Smoke’s Poutinerie. Our final stop is in Orange County where we flip out on perfect pancakes at the Crepes Bonaparte truck.
In Portland, Oregon we stop for some Southern style, hot, fried chicken at the Cackalacks Truck. Next is a trip over to London, England for the best burritos in town at Luardos. Then we visit Regal Ravioli to see how the pasta king of Austin packs big Texas flavours into his ravishing ravioli. Lastly, we drive into Vancouver to top up our fluids at The Juice Truck.
First up, in Portland Oregon we get a taste of sandwiches with a side helping of attitude at the Big Ass Sandwich Truck. Then it’s bewitching hot dogs in Nashville at the I Dream of Weenie truck. Next we pull up at Lizzie’s Lunchbox to get schooled on the finest mix of Texan and Mediterranean dining. Finally we knock on the door of The Latin House in Miami for some home style cooking.
In Atlanta, Georgia we visit the Mobile Marlay truck for some classic Fish and Chips, Irish style. We then take a trip to Orange County to feast at a vegan vehicle, the Seabirds truck. Then for the true carnivores we stop in Nashville, Tennessee where we sample some smoking southern barbecue at Smoke et Al. Lastly, we get our just deserts in Portland where we stuff our pie holes with tasty little deserts from the Pie Spot.
In Los Angeles, Eat St slaps on the breaks for scrumptious sea food at Slap Fish. Then we’re Moroccan ‘n’ rollin’ over to New York City to the Comme Ci Comme Ca truck. Next it’s taco time in Atlanta as we pull up at Tex’s Tacos for some marvellous Mexicana meals. Final stop is at The Food Farm in San Diego for some healthy classics.
We start off in Atlanta at the Ibiza Bites truck for some Spanish & Latin inspired cuisine. Next we are treated to some home made delights at The Home Skillet truck in Orange County. Then it’s pasta perfection in Portland at Artigiano’s. Lastly we‘re at the Recess truck in San Diego where we take a time out to savour classic comfort food.
We begin at the Wonderlicious On Wheels truck in Atlanta whose south American inspired snacks are the talk of the town. Next is a truly beefed up menu at Hoss’ Loaded Burgers in Nashville. Last stop is at the Devilicious truck in San Diego, food so good, it’s bad.
The Eat St truck learns to drive on the other side of the road in England as we sample the best that London has to offer.
The Swamp Shack in Portland is our first stop where we wrestle with Alligator Jambalaya and an equally mean Bread Pudding. Next we cruise into Miami for something big, spicy and full of flavour at The Latin Burger truck. Then in Santa Monica we have a date with The Shrimp Pimp sampling their delicious Po Boy Sandwich and Drunken Shrimp Taco. Last up, we drive to South Carolina for an Italian feast at Strada Cucina.
Baconmania is a truck out of Costa Mesa, California that is crazy about one thing, you guessed it, bacon. From Bacon Balls to Bacon Popcorn to a Bacon Smoothie, these guys have got all the bacon bases covered...in bacon! From there we pull up to the Curbside truck in Baton Rouge whose plan is to improve the classics in every way they can. The Buttermilk truck in downtown LA is our third stop and they decided that breakfast was such an important meal it should be served all day, and if you taste their Red Velvet Pancakes, you'll understand why. Final port of call is a trip to Austin, Texas for some serious Italian cuisine at the Jalopy truck where they serve their dishes down a slide off the back of an 18 wheeler!
First up the Fukuburger truck in Las Vegas, Nevada fuses Japanese flare and flavour with the all American Hamburger to produce culturally, culinary classics. We then fly over to the Soul Patrol truck in Honolulu, Hawaii for some southern fried chicken. Big Wheel Provisions in Orlando, Florida is next where they are serving gourmet delights for everyday folk such as beef heart skewers and devilled eggs with roasted peppers. Last up is a stop for some Wafels & Dinges in Brooklyn featuring the King of Waffels.
In Denver Colorado, The Inventing Room is the coolest cart in town, featuring deserts that are 'cooked' with liquid nitrogen. Next, we heat things up with The Burnt Truck in Irvine, California where small is beautiful as they serve up bite size sliders with comforting toppings like PB 'n' J and Buttermilk Fried Chicken. After that we roll into Baton Rouge, Louisiana for some alligator tacos at the Taco De Paco truck, Mexican flavour with real bite. Final stop in this episode is deliciously devilish as we drive to Austin, Texas to taste hot dogs that are b.b.b.bad to the bun at The Evil Weiner truck.
Eat Street starts by hitting LA to feast on Sushi at the Jogasaki truck, Japanese cuisine with a Mexican twist. From there we say aloha to Opal's Thai Truck in Honolulu, Hawaii as we sample their Pad Thai, Penang Curry and Drunken noodles. It's an experience where you definitely get more bang-kok for your buck. Next we roll on down to Las Vegas, Nevada to really heat things up at the Sloppi Jo's truck whose concept revolves around one special ingredient, the New Mexican hatch chili that's used in every dish. Last but not least, we visit South Carolina for some magical stuffed chicken wings at the 2Fat2Fly truck.
Jen and Outlaw's Fish Fry, a mobile truck serving Alabama style crawfish in the heart of Brooklyn, New York add a little bit of southern hospitality into all their dishes including Catfish Po'boy and Deep Fried Pickles. Next up is Riffs truck out of Nashville, Tennessee serving up Caribbean cuisine to suit all tastes. Irvine, California is where we then find ourselves experiencing Asian and Latin infused Tacos from the Dos Chinos truck which is itself a feast for the eyes. Finally we stop off in Denver and go nuts for donuts at the Sugar Lips truck with dinky delights topped with treats such as cherries & chocolate, lemon ginger or even bacon bits & jalapeno jam.
Feed Your Hole is a deli truck that is part band tour bus and part bomber air plane, serving up old school BBQ recipes out of East Manhattan. Next we hitch a ride to The Biscuit Bus in Denver, Colorado for some home cooked southern goodness like their best selling Franklin Biscuit filled with fried chicken, bacon, cheese and sausage gravy. Brooklyn, NYC also gets a visit from the Eat Street team to get a sugar fix from the Treats Truck where everyone gets their just deserts! Finally we drive to Nashville, Tennessee to chow down at The Grilled Cheeserie which emphasises the use of locally sourced ingredients.
We start in Las Vegas at FoodSlingers whose Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich is one of the best around. We then roll into San Jose where we get wowed by The Wow Truck with its Filipino rice plates (Silog). Next we get our hands on Mr Good Stuff’s Arepas in Miami, Venezualan Tacos that are the new vice in town. Finally, we stop in Portland at the EuroTrash truck for fine European cuisine such as their Bacon Foie Gras Waffle and Piri Piri Chicken.
Our first stop is Mo Gridders, a 35 foot long food truck in the heart of the Bronx in New York City. Serving up almost 3 pounds of prime BBQ ribs a serving and smoked for 6 hours beforehand to get just right, this place is for serious meat lovers. We then roll on into Baton Rouge, Louisiana where the Go Ya Ya truck makes us go gaga over their amazing crepes. Austin, Texas is our next stop for the East Side King trailer serving up highly admired, asian inspired delights such as their Tori Meshi, a deep fried chicken thigh in a sweet and spicy sauce. Last up is the Barbie Burgers truck in Nashville Tennessee, where a real doll serves up classic burgers and shakes out of her huge pink 50's style trailer.
Season two's first port of call is sunny San Diego, California to meet the Mangia Mangia Mobile run by two hot headed Italians. Biting at the heels is a visit to Austin, Texas to the Pig Vicious Trailer for all things pork related. Still in Austin, we pay a call to the Cazamance Trailer for some sizzling Senegalese cuisine. And finally, we heat things up in New Orleans with a fire truck called Dragos that serves char broiled oysters right off the back!
First up we’re in South Carolina where the Bone In Barbecue truck takes pride in smoking their meats for at least 14 hours to perfect their Southern delights. Next it’s a French-Asian fusion with the Dim-Ssam-a-Go-Go truck in Miami where we go-go crazy for their Cracklin’ Duck Herb Sandwich. Then it’s a ride to Hawaii to feast on Filipino fusion food at the Flip’t Out truck. And finally, we get bent out of shape with delight at the Crooked Spoon truck in Orlando to try out their Mac N Cheese and a Swordfish dish with Shrimp and grits.
Rosa's Bella Cucina in Burbank is first on our plate serving up a variety of Italian deli delights. Then all bets are off in Vegas as we sample the best Dim Sum at the Tasty Bunz truck. Next we feature Cupcakes in Orlando at the Yum Yum truck, whose name says it all. Finally, we treat ourselves to some fantastic fish Tacos in Hawaii at Camille’s on Wheels.
Using local and sustainably sourced ingredients, Garden State Cart in Portland, Oregon serves East Coast-Sicilian fare such as their Meatball Hero Sandwich (on East Coast-style hoagie bread), and their popular vegetarian chickpea fritter sandwich. Led by Chef Joshua Henderson, Skillet Street Food in Seattle, Washington, is a pioneer in mobile gourmet trailers, serving dishes such as sockeye salmon with succotash, and their famous gourmet burger with homemade bacon jam. For a personalized falafel sandwich, Eat St. heads to Liba Falafel, a mobile food truck with a built in condiment bar in San Francisco, California which is known for beginning “falafel affairs.” And finally, in Houston, Texas, Oh My! Pocket Pies mobile truck serves empanada style pocket pies with comfort fillings such as chicken chile relleno. This hand-built cart resembles a miniature chalet home, serving gourmet soups and sandwiches, such as the Tillamook Vintage White Cheddar and H.U.B. Lager soup with a homemade mozzarella sandwich. Next stop is Spencer On The Go, in San Francisco, California, where customers enjoy classic French cuisine from a mobile truck. And finally, there’s more BBQ in Boston at Silk Road BBQ, a kiosk-style hut assembled each morning, which barbecues with a centuries-old Asian twist.
