There's a big secret on the ranch — a surprise 16th birthday party for Alex with family, friends and all her favorite food. There's a fun pasta bar with Spaghetti Sauce, Pesto, Alfredo Sauce, Grilled Chicken and all the fixin's and a cute take on a birthday cake, an incredible Chocolate Chip Caramel Ice Cream Sundae!
It's a big day of cleaning up the homestead with a massive bonfire to round it all off after an alfresco dinner of crispy Fried Chicken, Perfect Potato Salad, crunchy Colorful Coleslaw and Individual Key Lime Pies to eat around the fire.
Ree's making a rib-sticking breakfast delivery to hungry cattle workers. It's all the cowboy favorites; Best Breakfast Potatoes Ever, Spicy Scrambled Eggs, warm Black Pepper and Sage Biscuits and Sausage Gravy, all served tailgate-style off the back of Ree's pick up.
Ree's rustling up a frontier fiesta feast for her family who are hard at work building new pens on the ranch. Right off the truck tailgate she's serving citrus grilled Pollo Asado, cheesy Refried Beans, spicy Chile Con Queso, cooling Pico De Gallo and a refreshing vat of Perfect Homemade Lemonade.
No time? No Problem! Ree's solving time saving quandaries on love, life and what to cook in a time crunch, with recipes for a Quick and Easy Apple Tart, a speedy Shrimp Stir Fry and for the meat lovers, a fast and fabulous Big Steak Salad with crispy onion strings.
Calves, cowboys and kids are all getting fed today at the ranch. For breakfast, French Breakfast Puffs, which Ree prepares the night before. For lunch it's stick-to-your-ribs Drippy French Dip Sandwiches and for dessert, Baked Fudge.
Ree's filling up the freezer with family favorites that are great standbys. She's making Sour Cream Noodle Bake, Chicken Pot Pies with delicious Thyme Pastry and Creamy Carrot Soup.
Ree and her Mom friends are celebrating the end of the school year with a girls night at the ranch with a delicious summery menu. Ree's making Fresh Herb Pizza, a fabulous Summer Chicken Salad, adorable Cherry Cheesecake Shooters and Bellini Cocktails.
Ree's throwing a welcome-home dinner for friends moving back to her town. There's Peppercorn Roasted Beef Tenderloin with fabulous Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes and the two ingredient wonder dubbed "The Bread." For dessert, a show-stopping four layer Chocolate Strawberry Cake.
Ree's spreading out a pickup picnic for the family and cowboys working on a bunch of spring calves. The hearty tailgate has Spicy Roasted Chicken Legs, the classic Cowboy Bacon Beans, Deviled Eggs and Mocha Brownies with a thick, delicious frosting for dessert.
Ree's sharing her ideas of the best things in the world. There are comfort classics like the Best Tomato Soup Ever and the Best Grilled Cheese Ever. For breakfast, the Best Scrambled Eggs Ever and a dessert to die for, the Best Yogurt Parfait Ever.
Ree's pulling together a boxed lunch for a site meeting at an old building that the family is renovating. Everyone's getting a Colossal Club Sandwich, and individual portion of Easy Greek Salad, Homemade Black Pepper Potato Chips and Chocolate Chocolate White Chocolate Chip Cookies to chew one while they look over plans for the building.
Ree challenges herself to cook meals in less and less time today. There's a 30 minute marvel — Mini Meatball Sandwiches, 20-Minute Penne Alla Betsy, and a Buffalo Chicken Salad with Fast Blue Cheese Dressing that's ready in just ten! She's even able to whip together a bonus five minute meal with Easy Green Chile Enchiladas.
It's all systems go when Ladd calls the ranch to say their friends Butch and Julie are coming over for dinner right now. Ree's got to fix a super fast meal from what she's got on hand. She makes Patty Melts, complete with Crash Hot Potatoes, Quick-Marinated Cherry Tomato Salad and Bananas Foster With Ice Cream for dessert, in the time it takes for them to drive out from town.
It's a big calf working day on the Drummond Ranch and that means hungry kids and cowboys at lunch time so Ree's whipping up a hearty feast of cowboy comfort food with Pan Fried Pork Chops with Cheesy Hash Brown Casserole and The Best Green Beans Ever followed by her fabulous Peach Cobbler.
The cowboys and kids have a long day hauling cattle so a hearty tailgate lunch is the way to go. There's got to be beef on the menu for these cowboys, so Ree's serving up warming and substantial Lasagna, Garlic Cheese Bread, and for dessert, individual Fried Pies perfect for eating on the hoof!
Ladd's grandmother Edna Mae is turning 89 so Ree and the kids are surprising her with a beautiful birthday care pack with all her favorite foods; Roast Chicken, Cauliflower Soup with Toasted Crackers and a stunning Blueberry Italian Cream Cake.
In the Drummond household, football reigns supreme. The day starts with Everything Cookies for the sporty family. While Coach Ladd and his quarterback, Bryce, play ball, Ree makes a dinner of Beef and Bean Burritos and Jumpo Pico Salad, for her hungry athletes. The next morning, Ree packs the family off with hearty Breakfast of Champions Sandwiches before the girls and boys set off for their separate matches.
Ree's investment club is gathering for the first time in 10 years: She's bringing the food and her friend is hosting the party. The Mexican-inspired menu has fabulous Blackberry Margaritas to get the party started, followed by Chicken Tortilla Soup, Cheesy Jalapeno Cornbread and a seriously good Tres Leches Cake.
The family that plays together stays together. Ree, Ladd and the extended family get together for some good ol' friendly ranch style sporting competition. Afterwards, there's Tangy Tomato Brisket, Onion Strings, Blanched Broccoli and Cheese Dipping Sauce for lunch, plus Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream Sandwiches to celebrate the ranch games!
It's a home schooling day on the ranch and Ree is running both the classroom and the cafeteria! For breakfast, there are Muffins With Vanilla Butter, then Ree turns lunch lady to serve up Chicken and Noodles. Plus there are delicious Chocolate Dipped Peanut Butter S'mores for spelling bee prizes.
Sometimes you just can't spend an hour making dinner! Ree has a super fast sampler of meals direct from the prairie that are on the table in sixteen minutes flat, including Chicken Quesadillas, Beef With Snow Peas and Chicken Florentine Pasta.
It's all about frontier style food to go and Ree has got two special deliveries to make. First she's taking ravenous kids and cowboys a well deserved breakfast in the pens — delicious Sweet Orange Rolls and Peppered Bacon. Then she's making a big hearty dinner of Root Vegetable Beef Stew and Creamy Cheddar Grits, and sharing it with her best friend Hyacinth as a delicious thank you gift.
Three generations of Drummonds are gathering at the lodge for Sunday brunch after church. Ree's got a spectacular make-ahead menu featuring a glorious Baked Glazed Ham, Drop Biscuits and Ham Gravy, Baked Eggs in Hash Brown Cups and zesty Fruit Salad With Orange Vanilla Syrup. Plus sister-in-law Missy's bringing her famous Lemon and Blueberry Cupcakes.
Today Ree is celebrating all the things she loves on the ranch. On the menu are Bacon Wrapped Filet, Fancy Mac and Cheese, White Wine Spritzers for the adults, and Heavenly Cream-Filled Cupcakes.
Ree Drummond is sharing all her great recipes, tips and secrest to pulling off the complete Thanksgiving feast! On the menu, Ree's Roasted Thanksgiving Turkey brined overnight in My Favorite Turkey Brine, complete with all the sides and trimmings to die for; homemade Cornbread Dressing With Sausage and Apples, Sweet Roasted Rosemary Acorn Squash Wedges, Cranberry Sauce, and Green Beans and Tomatoes.
It's a Drummond cousin sleepover at the lodge and Ree's making a finger food feast of Crispy Chicken Strips, Sweet Potato Fries, Honey Mustard and Kickin' Mayo dips, and fun Individual Fruit Pizzas. Then there's mayhem, Messy Sleepover Snacks and a prank on an unsuspecting Cowboy Josh.
Alex is turning 15 and the Drummonds are celebrating with Iny's Prune Cake With Buttermilk Icing for birthday breakfast after an early morning in the saddle. Then, Ree's hosting a dinner party for Alex and her best friends with personalised New York Style Chopped Salad with an Herby Ranch Dressing, home baked Rosemary Focaccia and the cutest Flower Pot Desserts. Happy birthday, Alex!
A rancher's work is never done, especially when there's fence to fix, and today the crew needs some serious sustenance. Ree fixes them Homemade Glazed Doughnuts and later she delivers a rib-sticking lunch of Ranch Chicken Sandwiches to the workers. After the day of hard work, the family enjoys a well-deserved evening of fun and fishing at the pond, where Ree serves up the perfect refreshment: Raspberry Lemonade.
It's Ree's annual high school reunion and she's got 15 friends coming to the lodge to cut loose and have the most incredible fun and delicious food. The menu is all make ahead: there's Restaurant Style Salsa With Cheese Nachos for the beer drinkers, and Sundried Tomato Stuffed Mushrooms for the wine drinkers. For dinner, Spicy Lemon Garlic Shrimp with hot crusty bread followed by a fabulous Raspberry Tiramisu. Turn back the clock to the 1980s, there's going to be a riot at the ranch!
With two barns to burn down and hungry workers to feed, Ree's getting them all fired up with delicious Good Morning Muffins for breakfast. There's a real ranch favorite for lunch, Chicken Spaghetti with Apple, Pecan and Blue Cheese Salad. When the work is done, Ree has a special treat to cool off the fire starters -- fabulous and fun Frozen Pops!
With the family away for the weekend, Ree can cook and eat all the food she really loves. She starts with a fresh and fabulous Gazpacho for lunch. After a few ranch chores there's indulgent Pasta With Pancetta and Leeks. The next day, with time ticking away, Ree whips up a real spicy favorite, Lazy Chiles Rellenos. There's time for one last treat, beautiful Bruschetta, before the crew arrive home and it's back to cowboy cooking.
Ladd and the kids have been up since first light shipping cattle, and Ree's rustling up a rib-sticking lunch of the kids' favorite foods. For Bryce, Salisbury Steak in tasty gravy. For Alex, Fettuccine Alfredo, and delicious sauteed sweet Peas and Carrots for Paige. Last but not least, for Todd, Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie it is. For a fun finale everyone has to guess which dish has their name on it -- will they get it right?
Ladd's father, Chuck, has been honored with a Trail Boss Award, so the Drummonds are throwing a big celebration dinner at the lodge. On the menu are Rib-Eye Steak With Onion Blue Cheese Sauce and Restaurant Style Smashed Potatoes. On the side, grilled Corn With Pasilla Butter. Then for dessert, a fabulous Strawberry Sparkle Cake inspired by Chuck's great-grandmother's recipe.
It's fiesta time on the ranch, where Ree's creating a truly classic Mexican feast with Tequila Lime Chicken, Refried Black Beans, Mexican Rice Casserole and all the yummy fixings. Ladd's manning the grill and it's time to get the party started, with Mango and Virgin Margaritas, a gorgeous dinner on the porch, good friends to share the celebration with, and lots and lots of laughter.
With the boys away, it's quality time for the cowgirls! There's a beautiful veggie-packed Pasta Primavera for lunch, before it's time to get back to the real world; the guys are coming home, so dinner is a Drummond crowd-pleaser that's loved by cowboys and cowgirls alike, Perfect Bacon Cheeseburgers and Perfect French Fries.
It's time to saddle up for a big day of horse riding on the ranch. Ree's handing out Granola Bars to the kids as they set off on horse back for a riding lesson with Josh and his uncle Lee. To say thank you, Ree's making a care package for Lee with a seriously good homemade ready-meal, Sloppy Joes and a tasty Carrot Cake for dessert.
Hay season on the ranch means the family and cowboy Josh are working around the clock, so they need plenty of sustenance. Ree's delivering a well earned treat of tasty Monster Cookies. And when the work is done for the day she's whipping up a light delicious dinner of Easy Calzones With Homemade Marinara Sauce followed by a beautiful frozen Cherry and Pomegranate Sherbet, just the thing for the hungry hay haulers.
It's all about family, frontier fun and favorite foods, when Ree's brother Mike visits the ranch for the day. For lunch there are Simple Perfect Enchiladas that he's crazy for, with delicious Garlic Cilantro Lime Rice and Root Beer Floats doing double duty as dessert and drink. Then there's off-roading, ranch work, fishing and a take-home care package complete with marshmallow crispy treats.
Ree holds a slumber party for Paige and her four very best friends. They kick off their day of fun with Cinnamon Baked French Toast before they go horse riding on the ranch. Ree delivers them a picnic by the creek with Prairie Sushi and Kid Friendly Pasta Salad. Then there's some soccer to play and a seriously fun treat up at the lodge, decorating Hand Cookies, the perfect end to their day of prairie adventures.
