Anna Olson

Originally born in Atlanta, Georgia, Anna grew up in Toronto, but found her way back to the U.S. to study culinary arts at Johnson & Wales University and work in Colorado and New Orleans. While initially trained in the world of savory cooking, Anna is equally recognized for her abilities in the pastry kitchen, having worked as a professional pastry chef since the mid ‘90’s. She is proud to call Niagara home, and has lived and cooked here for over 15 years.

Anna’s culinary philosophy is based on a common-sense approach of cooking and baking with the seasons as well as respecting the ingredients, the technique and the process of sharing with others through food. Most of all, cooking and baking should be fun!

Ricardo Larrivée

Host: Ricardo Larrivée

Ricardo Larrivée -- or simply Ricardo to his fans -- is Canada's most successful bilingual celebrity chef. Over the past twelve years, Ricardo has become a household name in Quebec. Ricardo's easy-going personality, humour, and charisma has led him to be called 'Quebec's answer to Jamie Oliver.'

Laura Calder

Host: Laura Calder

Laura Calder was born and raised in Eastern Canada. She attended university in Canada and the U.K., and began her career in journalism before turning to food, studying at the Dubrulle Culinary Institute in Vancouver and at Ecole de Cuisine LaVarenne in France. Calder is author of the cookbooks French Food at Home and French Taste, elegant, everyday, eating, the latter of which was awarded gold at the Canadian Culinary Cookbook Awards in 2010. Her next book, Dinner Chez Moi was released in September 2011.

Calder wrote and hosted 78 episodes of the Food Network series (airing worldwide) French Food at Home, which won a James Beard Award for best food television show in a fixed location. She also hosted the James Beard nominated one-hour special, The Château Dinner, and was a participating host in the Food Network Canada Christmas special, 'Twas the Night Before Dinner.

After having spent a decade in France, Calder now lives in Toronto.

Anthony Sedlak

Host: Anthony Sedlak

Anthony Sedlak discovered his love of food at the age of 13 when he took a shift in a café atop Grouse Mountain ski resort in Vancouver, Canada. Inspired to complete a Culinary Arts program and a four-year apprenticeship, he became a leader in Grouse Mountain’s flagship dining room, The Observatory, by age 19. Anthony eventually went to Europe, working his way up to executive sous-chef at La Trompette, a Michelin Star restaurant in London. In 2006, he represented Canada at the Hans Bueschken World Junior Chef Challenge in New Zealand, returning home with silver. The same year, he competed in and won Food Network’s Superstar Chef Challenge. He hosted four seasons of the series The Main, with his cookbook based on the program becoming a national bestseller.  He also co-hosted Family Cook Off with Trish Magwood. Anthony Sedlak was just 29 when he collapsed and died from an undiagnosed medical condition on July 6, 2012.
