cup brown sugar

cup margarine, softened

tsp vanilla extract

egg

cup orange juice
½
cup whole wheat flour
½
cup wheat germ or bran
¼
tsp salt
½
cup protein powder
½
cup soy powder

cup oats
1
cup dried fruit
1
cup chocolate
1
cup carob chips

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
Step 2
In a large bowl, cream the sugar, margarine, vanilla, and egg together.
Step 3
In a separate bowl, combine the rest of the ingredients and mix well. Stir into creamed mixture and mix well.
Step 4
Spread evenly on a greased 9” x12″ pan and bake for 30-40 minutes. Cool and cut into bars. Makes 12 bars.
