This cheesy Black Diamond Mozzarella country-style loaf will pair nicely with soup or a salad.

loaf country-style bread (sourdough), sliced and toasted

clove garlic

cup (500 mL) Black Diamond Partly Skimmed Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
1
cup (250 mL) cream cheese

Tbsp (60 mL) cream
4
Tbsp (60 mL) tomato sauce

Tbsp (30 mL) Dijon mustard
8
slices cooked ham
1
roasted red sweet pepper, cut into strips

chives, minced
salt and pepper to taste

Step 1
In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, cream, tomato paste, Dijon mustard, and chives. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Step 2
Cut garlic cloves in half and rub on toasted bread slices.
Step 3
Spread cream cheese mix on each slice of bread, add cooked ham. Spread a spoonful of cream cheese mix on top of ham, cover with peppers and Black Diamond partly skimmed mozzarella cheese.
Step 4
Bake in preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for approximately 10 minutes.
