4 ounces vodka

1 litre tomato juice

Juice of 1 lemon

Worcestershrie sauce

Tobasco sauce

4 teaspoons prepared horseradish (20 ml)

Salt and pepper

4 slices lemon, to garnish

4 celery sticks, to garnish

4 asparagus spears, blanched


1. Fill 4 cocktail glasses with ice. Pour vodka, tomato juice, lemon juice, a few dashes each of Worcestershire and Tobasco sauce and horseradish into a cocktail shaker. Shake well and pour into each glass. Season with salt and pepper and garnish with lemon slices, a celery stick and an asparagus spear.
