Bungalow Tuna Burger

A delicious yet elegant burger! Two pounds of seared Ahi tuna topped with homemade Asian slaw. Goes well with sweet potato fries!

Directions for: Bungalow Tuna Burger

Ingredients

Asian Slaw

4 cup cabbage, shredded

1 cup roasted red peppers, julienned

1 cup carrot, grated

½ cup soy sauce

¼ cup sesame oil

½ cup chili paste

1 cup cilantro, chopped

Tuna Burger

2 lb(s) Ahi tuna

1 tsp vegetable oil

4 ciabatta buns, toasted (or substitute with 4 hamburger buns)

salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

Asian Slaw

1. In a large bowl combine all ingredients.

2. Set aside.

Tuna Burger

1. Cut tuna into 4 even 8-ounce steaks.

2. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Seer tuna steaks over medium heat for roughly 1 minute both sides.

3. Place tuna on toasted ciabatta buns. Top with Asian slaw. Add salt & pepper to taste. Close bun and serve. Enjoy.
