12 large ripe strawberries, washed

8 ounces 70% dark chocolate

4 ounces white chocolate

Rice Krispies

shredded coconut

Chopped nuts


1. Melt the dark chocolate in a bowl set over a small pot of simmering water. In a separate bowl, melt the white chocolate.

2. Impale a strawberry with a fork and dip it into the melted dark chocolate. Lay the strawberry on a parchment-lined baking sheet while the chocolate hardens. Lightly drizzle some white chocolate over the dark and leave to completely set.

3. Alternately: Dip strawberries into melted chocolate and then immediately roll in your choice of rice krispies, coconut or chopped nuts. Lay on a baking sheet to set. You may also dip the tip of the hardened dark chocolate berries into the melted white chocolate.
