Gluten Free Bread for Bread Machine

Gluten Free Bread for Bread Machine

Recipe by Doug DiPasquale, Holistic Nutritionist.

Any one who is diagnosed with celiac disease knows how incredibly difficult it can be to find foods that are wheat-free*. We don’t realize it, but most of us are eating multiple portions of wheat every day. It’s important to give your body a break from the wheat every once in awhile. This bread is completely wheat-free* and gluten free*. It’s a great bread for a bread machine, takes little time and comes out perfect for sandwiches.

directions

Step 1

In a mixing bowl, carefully mix dry ingredients (excluding the yeast) being sure not to agitate too much since these lighter flours tend to get up into the air.

Step 2

In a separate bowl, whisk together wet ingredients and pour into the bread machine. 1/4 cup at a time, add the dry ingredients to the wet.

Step 3

Put a small indentation in the top of the mound of dry ingredients and put the dry yeast into this indentation.

Step 4

Follow the instructions for your particular bread machine. Make sure you set your bread machine to single rise setting (or it may be called “gluten free” setting) if available.
Enjoy.
