Gluten- Free Stuffing

This holiday season, why not give everyone's digestive system a bit of a break from digesting wheat several times a day and offer them this great stuffing instead?

Directions for: Gluten- Free Stuffing

Ingredients

½ loaf Gluten-Free Bread For Bread Machines* (see recipe), cut into cubes

1 cooking onion, diced

1 Tbsp dried sage

1 cup pine nuts

¼ lb(s) organic* butter*, melted on the stove top

Unrefined sea salt* to taste

Fresh cracked black pepper to taste

Directions

1. If using fresh bread, spread cubes on a baking sheet and put in a 200 degree oven for a few minutes until dried out. If using stale bread, skip this step.

2. Mix bread cubes, sage, onion, pine nuts salt and pepper in a bowl. Pour over melted butter and mix well.

3. Spoon stuffing mixture into the cavity of a chicken or turkey before putting it into the oven. Once the bird is cooked, spoon out the stuffing into a separate bowl.

4. To prepare stuffing to accompany something other than poultry, add 1/4C of chicken stock to the mixture and place in an oven safe pan. Cover pan in tinfoil and place in 350? oven for 15 minutes. Enjoy.
