Ingredients

2 cups mixed nuts (500 ml)

2 tablespoons toasted cumin seeds (30 ml)

2 tablespoons toasted coriander seeds (30 ml)

1 tablespoon toasted caraway seeds (15 ml)

¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (1 ml)

1 tablespoon orange flower water (15 ml)

1 tablespoon honey (15 ml)

2 tablespoons vegetable oil (30 ml)

Sea salt and ground black pepper, to taste

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.

2. Grind the cumin seed, coriander seed and caraway in a spice grinder. Combine with the cayenne, orange flower water and honey. Put the vegetable oil into a large sauté pan and add the nuts. Let them heat up slowly and then add the spice mixture. Toss well and then spread the nuts onto a baking sheet. Season with salt and pepper and roast until the nuts are dry and golden. Cool the nuts and serve. Store in an airtight container.
