Maple and Clementine Ham Glaze
A sweet ham glaze for Easter or any occasion made with maple syrup and clementine juice.
2 cups maple syrup
1 cup clementine juice, freshly squeezed
¾ cup cider vinegar
2 Tbsp brown sugar
Fresh red chili or preserved Italian to taste, finely chopped (optional)
1. In a medium sauce pan combine all ingredients and bring to a boil over med high heat for approximately 2-3 minutes, being careful not to boil over. Reduce to low heat and simmer for approximately 15-20 mins to reach glaze consistency or until glaze coats the back of a spoon. Strain and use.
