Directions for: Pink Applesauce

Ingredients

5 lb. red apples, cored and cut into chunks (Spartan, McIntosh, Cortland)

1 cup sugar

¾ cup lemon juice

Directions

1. In a saucepan, combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat to medium and simmer, stirring frequently, until the apples are soft, about 25 minutes.

2. Purée the mixture in a blender. Strain.
