tsp (5 mL) vegetable oil
4
bone in pork loin chops (about 1 ½ lbs/750 g), or 1 ¼ lbs/625 g boneless chops
1
small onion, halved and sliced
½
cup (125 mL) VH® Plum Dipping Sauce
¼
cup (60 mL) maple syrup
1
Tbsp (15 mL) dijon or whole grain mustard

lb(s) Spartan apples, thinly sliced

Step 1
Heat oil in a large nonstick pan over medium-high heat. Cook chops, about 1 minute per side, until lightly browned. Remove and set aside.
Step 2
Add onion to pan, cook, stirring, for about 3 minutes until softened. Stir in VH® Plum Dipping Sauce maple syrup and mustard.
Step 3
Return chops to pan, coating well with sauce. Arrange apple slices over chops. Reduce heat to medium-low; simme, covered for 5 minutes. Serve with whole wheat couscous and green beans.
