4 (about 16 oz/450 g) boneless pork chops
1 Tbsp (15 mL) unsalted butter
1 Tbsp (15 mL) brown sugar
1 large apple, cored and diced
½ carton (240 mL) CAMPBELL'S® Stock First™ Cream Stock
1 Tbsp (15 mL) orange juice
1 Tbsp (15 mL) apple cider vinegar
2 tsp (10 mL) orange zest
1 Tbsp (15 mL) fresh thyme
1. Place pork chops in a non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat. When chops are fully cooked and golden brown on both sides (approximately 5 minutes each side), remove from pan and set aside on a dish.
2. Add butter and brown sugar to the non-stick pan used for the chops. Over medium-high heat cook mixture for 2 minutes until smooth. Add the diced apple and continue to cook for 5 minutes over medium-high heat until apples are golden brown, coated with sauce and caramelized.
3. In a separate sauce pan add stock, orange juice, apple cider vinegar, orange zest and thyme and simmer gently for 3 minutes.
4. Arrange hot cooked pork chops on plates, drizzle caramelized apples over pork chops and spoon cream sauce on top.
