Ingredients

1 pound (500 g) package macaroni or other short pasta

3 eggs

3 cups shredded Canadian Mild Cheddar

⅓ cup ketchup

Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

1. In a large saucepan, cook pasta in boiling salted water for 10 minutes (follow package directions).

2. While pasta cooks, break eggs into a large bowl and beat. Stir in cheese, ketchup, salt and pepper, combining well.

3. Drain cooked pasta and add to bowl. Toss well. Pasta can be reheated in the same saucepan or in bowl in microwave oven.

4. Better still: Cover with your choice of shredded Canadian cheese and bake at 450°F (230°C) for 3 to 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted and golden brown.
