Red Sangria

Perfect for an evening dinner al fresco! Feel free to add whatever fruit is in season. If you like a lighter red wine then go for a Beaujolais.

Directions for: Red Sangria


2 cup dry red wine (500 ml)

2 Tbsp brandy or Triple Sec (30 ml)

½ cup pear juice or orange juice (125 ml)

Juice of 1 orange

Juice of 1 lemon

1 cup carbonated spring water (250 ml)

handful Handful of kumquats, sliced or 1 orange, sliced

1 star fruit, sliced

1 cinnamon stick (optional)

handful Handful ice cubes


1. Add the red wine, brandy, pear juice, lemon juice and orange juice in a pitcher. Stir. Top with carbonated spring water. Add kumquats, star fruit and cinnamon stick. Add the ices cubes. Stir and serve.
