Directions for: Stewed Cranberries with Orange


2 cup fresh or frozen cranberries

½ cup sugar (or as needed, depending on the sweetness of the cranberries)

2 Tbsp brandy (optional)

zest and juice of one orange

½ cup orange juice (store bought)

1 tsp salt


1. Combine all ingredients in a medium sized saucepot and place over medium heat. Cook the mixture uncovered until it resembles a jam like consistency, about 35- 40 minutes. Allow the mixture to cool slightly. Serve warm.
