small onion, chopped

cloves garlic, minced

tsp dried Italian herb seasoning

tsp hot pepper flakes

oz package frozen spinach, thawed, squeezed dry, and, chopped

oz can stewed tomato

cup oil-cured olives, pitted, and, chopped

Tbsp drained rinsed capers

oz tuna, drained and broken into chunks

grated parmesan cheese, (optional)

Step 1
In large skillet, heat oil over medium heat; cook onion, garlic, herb seasoning and hot pepper flakes for 5 minutes or until softened.
Step 2
Add spinach and tomatoes, breaking up tomatoes with back of spoon.
Step 3
Add olives and capers; bring to boil.
Step 4
Reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes or until thickened.
Step 5
Stir in tuna.
Step 6
Meanwhile, in large pot of boiling salted water, cook pasta for 8 to 10 minutes or until tender but firm; drain and return to pot.
Step 7
Add sauce and toss to coat.
Step 8
Serve sprinkled with cheese (if using).
