1 lemon, juiced and zested

1 lime, juiced and zested

2-3 tablespoons honey

1 bunch finely chopped mint (optional)

Mixed fruit (see directions)


1. Gather as many fruit from these families as you can: Melons: watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew, casaba, crenshaw Berries: blueberry, raspberry, strawberry, blackberry Grapes: red, green, purple Tree Fruit: apples, pears, plums, peaches, apricots Citrus: oranges, grapefruit, kumquat, tangerines Tropical: pineapple, star fruit, kiwi

2. Peel, skin, seed, cut, slice and cube the fruit as needed aiming for bite sized pieces. Toss together in a large festive bowl with the lemon, lime, honey and mint.
