Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce (125 ml)
  • 3/4 cup maple syrup (175 ml)
  • 4 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped (60 ml)
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 4 pounds pork ribs, cut into individual pieces (1.8 kg)

Directions

  1. In a large bowl combine soy sauce, maple syrup, 3 tbsp. of cilantro, garlic and onion and stir until all ingredients are well blended. Drop pork ribs into mixture and mix until ribs are all well coated. Cover and allow to ribs to marinate in the refrigerator for 4 to 6 hours.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 F. Take ribs out of the refrigerator and arrange them in a large baking dish, pour marinade on top. Cover with aluminum foil. Place in the middle of center of the oven and bake for 45 minutes. Turn then over and allow them to cook for another 45 minutes. Take aluminum foil off and allow ribs to cook an additional 15 minutes. Turn then over again and bake them uncovered for an additional 15 minutes. Remove them from the oven and let them settle. Arrange pork ribs on a serving platter.
