Recipe summary

Drinking out of a straw is ultimate kid food fun! I like my milkshakes super thick. If you prefer a thinner consistency, add a bit more milk. You can add just about any chocolate bar in place of the malted milk balls to this shake.

Yield: 1

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons cold milk or to taste
  • 1 tablespoon malted milk powder
  • 2 large scoops of chocolate ice cream
  • 1 package malted milk balls
  • whipped cream for garnish, optional
  • maraschino cherries for garnish

Directions

  1. Put all the ingredients (except the whipped cream and cherry) in a blender. Blend until smooth and pour into a milkshake glass. Top with whipped cream and a cherry!
