Recipe summary

Sashimi served up, Mexican-style! A dish of red onion, avocados and thinly sliced sashimi-grade tuna.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound (454 g) fresh sashimi-grade tuna, thinly sliced
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • Juice of 3 limes
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons (30 mL) good quality soy sauce

Directions

  1. Place the slices of tuna on a plate. Garnish with red onions. Squeeze lime juice all over and top with avocado and jalapeno. Drizzle with soy sauce. Serve immediately with crackers.
