Wild at Tart
Rachel and Jean take a trip to the nostalgic Bean and Baker Malt Shop in Toronto, Ont. where they sample a classic Carrot Cake, some Ol’ School Lunch Pie, and compare notes on their own specialty; the bold and beautiful butter tart. Next, the gals head to Wild Earth Bakery & Café in Edmonton, Alta. for some fun twists on the classics: a sweet and sour Strawberry Rhubarb Tart and a Caramel Crunch Cake. Later, they head to Charleston, S.C. where they cool down with a Pumpkin Latte Peace Pie, a way to hold pumpkin pie a la mode in the palm of your hand.
