Season 4

  • Aged Cedar

    Season 4 -

    Main updates the classic soup and sandwich. Anthony Sedlak makes grilled aged cheddar cheese sandwiches with crisp sliced pear and a sweet onion relish. Tagging along is herbed mustard dipping sauce. The soup of the day is traditional French onion soup with a bubbly aged cheddar topping. This is the perfect fare for a snow day.
  • Almonds

    Season 4 -

    This Main brings Middle Eastern flavours right into your kitchen. Anthony Sedlak puts his own twist on some Middle Eastern classics serving up savoury ground lamb with almond hummus, chewy almond flatbread and topped with crispy pickled onions.
  • Avocado

    Season 4 -

    Anthony Sedlak shows just how versatile avocados can be by building crisp lettuce wraps with tender beef, crispy bacon, grilled guacamole and roasted green onions. Along for the ride is a potato avocado salad.
  • Chicken Wings

    Season 4 -

    After this Main the chicken wings from the local pub will never taste the same. These homemade baked wings are sticky, juicy and get their kick from Asian spices. Anthony Sedlak pairs them with his creamy buttermilk and blue cheese dressing, crisp and tangy celery and carrot slaw and breaded celeriac wedges.
  • Chiles

    Season 4 -

    Anthony Sedlak spices things up with the fire-cracker flavour of chiles. First up is sautéed juicy shrimp with ginger, garlic and chiles. Along for the ride is a mango noodle salad and crispy pork spring rolls.
  • Honey

    Nothing says home sweet home like a honey balsamic glazed pork loin roast. Honey also coats roasted root vegetables and candies pecans for an endive and apple salad. Anthony Sedlak also makes a quick and tasty bread stuffing to finish off this classic meal. Call the family to the table for this sweet main.
  • Mediterranean Herbs

    Season 4 -

    We all know that herbs equal flavour, but using the right combination of Mediterranean herbs can put your cooking over the top. Anthony Sedlak slow roasts veal crusted with thyme, oregano, marjoram and parsley. On the side he’s serving it up with a creamy lemon potato puree and roasted red pepper jam.
  • Oysters

    Season 4 -

    Main Anthony Sedlak cooks up oysters Rockefeller with creamed spinach, crispy bacon and parmesan cheese. Anthony also serves up oysters paired with a sharp and tangy Mignonette sauce. Crispy frites and a rosemary-lemon mayonnaise make for great sides.

    Anthony Sedlak cooks up a pan fried Cornish hen with sweet oven roasted pears and serves it on a bed of creamy celeriac puree. On the side Anthony makes a raw mushroom and pear salad.

    Anthony Sedlak cooks up one of his favourite Middle Eastern recipes, turkey tagine. On the side he’s serving up a fruit and nut couscous, and a honey yogurt sauce.
  • Tomatoes

    Season 4 -

    There are few things in life better than biting into a sweet juicy tomato. For this Main Anthony Sedlak is doing up a baked pasta with loads of tomatoes, ricotta and olives. On the side he’s serving a classic Italian bread salad called panzanella, with stewed tomatoes, fresh cherry tomatoes, and buffalo mozzarella. This one’s going to make you hungry!

    You can’t beat the delicate flavour of a beautiful rainbow trout. Anthony Sedlak cooks up this fish in a creamy pot pie, topped with chive and dill biscuits. To cap it all off, Anthony puts a twist on a traditional Caesar salad. This comforting classic is both simple and satisfying.
  • Yogurt

    This Main is all about creamy, tangy yogurt. Anthony Sedlak is making Indian - spiced chicken marinated with yogurt. On the side, he’s cooking up buttered black lentils and two great condiments: sweet tomato chutney and spicy citrus yogurt.

Sesame crusted tuna showcases the nutty flavour of toasted sesame seeds and seared tofu is topped with a soy-sesame sauce.
