Chef Andrea Nicholson found her cooking passion at the age of 14 when
she secured her first restaurant kitchen job and, since then, she has
been consumed with the art of food. Today, Andrea is Executive Chef and
Director of Great Cooks Culinary Centre in Toronto and Owner of Killer
Condiments, her line of artisanal condiments. She is a Red
Seal-certified chef who trained at the internationally renowned George
Brown College. Her previous culinary experience includes stints at Via
Allegro, The Fifth, Humber College and Thirty Five Elm. She has also
worked with internationally acclaimed chefs from across the globe.
Andrea holds a diploma from the A.P.N. of Naples, Italy, distinguishing
her as a Pizzaiuoli, a certified Neapolitan pizza maker. Supporting
sustainability, Canadian farmers and Ocean Wise are central tenets of
Andrea’s cuisine.
