British Columbia

Lily Farm

Located just outside of Parksville on beautiful Vancouver
Island, Tiger Lily Farm offers day camps, trail rides, barnyard
visits, riding lessons, pony rides, and birthday party

Foxglove Farm Retreat

Nestled in the picturesque mountain valley of Salt Springs
Island, Foxglove is a working 120-acre historic organic farm that
produces berries, melons, greens, roots, peaches, plums, apples,
pears, cherries, and a wide range of annual Mediterranean
vegetables. Families can visit the fields, learn about farm life
and enjoy organically grown fruits, vegetables, and eggs picked to
order. Spend the day or stay overnight in one of Foxglove’s
historic log cabins.


Butterfield Acres Farm

Spend a day enjoying some of life’s simple pleasures at this
whimsical children’s farm located in Northwest Calgary. Your kids
will enjoy pony rides, learning to care for the animals and a lot
of other fun farm events. Open April to October, Butterfield hosts
summer camps, birthday parties, and various seasonal hunts.



Prairie Dome offers your family do-it-yourself adventure with
pick-your-own strawberries and saskatoons. Guests are transported
to and from the picking area by a knowledgeable staff member who is
on-hand to answer questions. At the end of your trip you pay for
your picks.



This beautiful tour farm located in the small town of Stonewall
offers entertainment for the whole family. Open spring to fall,
Boonstra hosts a variety of seasonal events. In the spring, they
offer tours and petting zoo visits. In the summer you can
pick-your-own berries. In the fall, take your chance at the corn
maze or take part in their special Halloween night. Most
activities, with the exception of berry picking, are available
spring to fall.

Six Pines
Ranch & Farm

Hidden amongst the pine and oak trees of Winnipeg, Six Pines
offers families a place where they can enjoy nature and experience
farm life. Take in Six Pines as part of a day trip, spend a few
days in one of their bed and breakfasts, or “rough it” on their
lush camp grounds. Petting zoo, horseback riding, and hayrides are
just a few the daily activities available.


Gammondale Farm

Located in Thunder Bay, Gammondale Farm offers year-round farm
tours, seasonal activities, forest and corn mazes, hay/sleigh
rides, petting farm, and draft horse/pony rides. End your visit
with pick-your-own pumpkin or squash.

Whittamore’s Farm Market

Spend a day at the farm. Located in Markham, Whittamore’s offers
pick-your-own berries, peas, beans, tomatoes, peppers and pumpkins.
Harvest festival and Pumpkinland run from the end of September to
the end of October, during this time families can explore various
mazes, enjoy wagon rides and take part in lots of other fun fall

O’Shea’s Farm Fresh Vegetables &
