I love this recipe because its so easy to make, and its so good!
What if you can't find cream, you ask? Well than buttermilk is perfect to use a a substitute! This goes really great with tea, and it serves 10-13 people.
Preheat the oven to 400ºF (205ºC). Lightly grease a cookie sheet or line with parchment paper.
Cut fruit into small pieces. If you are using fresh fruit, add in 1/2 tablespoon of sugar, and set aside to macerate.
Combine remaining dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add butter and combine.
Add cream and stir until it holds together and all the dry ingredients are just combine.
Bake scones for 15 minutes (take out sprinkle the sugar on top, then bake for additional 5-10 minutes- optional).
