Baked Salmon with Horseradish Jelly

Baked Salmon with Horseradish Jelly

This baked and glazed salmon is a perfect centerpiece for a buffet. It’s great served hot or cold…and I love it on a picnic.

Prep time: 5 minutes
Baking time: 20 minutes or so depending on the size and thickness of the salmon fillet

Serves 2- 3″ serving per person

directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 425°F/230°C

Step 2

Rinse and pat dry the salmon and lay skin side down on a baking sheet with sides or roasting pan.

Step 3

Slather some jelly all over the top of the salmon and bake for 20 minutes or until the salmon is cooked so that the center is slightly darker in color than the outside.

Step 4

Coat with some more jelly and turn the broiler on (or use a torch) to caramelize the jelly even more.

Step 5

Serve with extra jelly at the table.
