Make these easy beef meatballs the next time you need to feed a crowd. They travel well in a slow cooker for potlucks, and are especially popular with hungry curlers after a great game.

Ingredients

lb(s) (450 g) extra-lean ground beef
½
cup (125 mL) onion, finely chopped
1
clove garlic, minced
1
egg
¼
cup (50 mL) quick-cooking oats
¼
cup (50 mL) barbecue sauce
1
tsp (5 mL) dry mustard powder
fresh dill

Directions
Step 1
Cover large rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil.
Step 2
In large bowl, mix together ground beef, onion, garlic, egg, rolled oats, barbecue sauce and mustard powder.
Step 3
Form tablespoonfuls (15 mL) of meat mixture into balls and place on baking sheet. Bake in 400˚F (200˚C) oven for 20 minutes or barbecue until instant-read thermometer meat thermometer inserted into centre of several meatballs reads 165˚F (70˚C).
Step 4
Garnish with fresh dill before serving.
