A delicious pea and egg noodle pasta dish sautéed in a butter and onion sauce.

g wide egg noodles

cup butter

small onion, finely diced

cup frozen baby peas
salt & pepper

Step 1
Cook egg noodles in salted boiling water until tender. Drain and set aside.
Step 2
In a large pot, melt butter over medium high heat until the foam that the butter produces subsides. Add onions and sauté until browned, about 5 minutes.
Step 3
Add egg noodles and peas and reduce heat to medium, stir to warm through. Season to taste.
Step 4
Alternatively, stir in 1 cup of cottage cheese immediately before serving (this is especially good alongside pork chops or a pork roast).
