Burnt Orange Campari

Burnt Orange Campari cocktail is Chuck Hughes' refreshing twist on this international favorite.
2 oranges sliced
2 Tbsp honey (30 ml)
A pinch of cayenne
2 Tbsp of powdered sugar (30 ml)
1 oz Campari (30 ml)
1 oz Vodka (30 ml)
Juice of 1 orange
1. Preheat oven to 350 F (180 C).
2. Place orange slices on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Drizzle with honey, and make sure to cover them. Sprinkle with salt, cayenne and powdered sugar. Bake in the oven for about 35 minutes until charred and slightly translucent, turn over once half way through. Let cool.Campari
1. In a glass, place one burnt orange at the bottom and add some ice on top. Pour in Campari, vodka and orange juice. Top with club soda. Garnish with another burnt orange slice on top.
