Directions for: Chocolate Chip-Less Cookies


1 cup butter

⅔ cup sugar

⅔ cup brown sugar

2 eggs

tsp vanilla extract

2 cup flour

A pinch of salt

¼ cup cocoa

2 cup grated dark chocolate

2 Tbsp baking powder


1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.

2. Whip the butter and sugars together in a stand up mixer until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla and beat for a few more minutes.

3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt and cocoa. Add to the butter mixture and mix well. Stir in the grated chocolate.

4. Scoop spoonfuls of cookie dough with a large spoon, and then using your hands, roll into balls. Place on a parchment or silicon lined baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches between cookies.

5. Bake for 12 minutes.

6. Note: Yields 12 large cookies or 18 smaller ones.
