These delicious cookies are rich with chocolate and cream cheese flavours.

cup (550 mL) all-purpose flour

cup (125 mL) butter, softened

oz (250 g) Canadian Cream cheese, softened

cup sugar

oz (300 g) miniature chocolate chips, divided

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 °F (180 °C).
Step 2
In medium bowl, stir together flour and baking soda. In large mixer bowl, cream butter and Canadian Cream cheese until light and fluffy; gradually beat in sugar and egg.
Step 3
Melt 1 cup (250 mL) of the chocolate chips. Stir into batter. Stir in dry ingredients, remaining chocolate chips and nuts, if desired.
Step 4
Drop tablespoons (15 mL) of batter, one dozen at a time, onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake 10 minutes or until firm around edges. Remove from baking sheets and let cool on wire racks.
