To celebrate the release of the new Ghostbusters movie, dig in to this elegant brown butter cake with a marshmallow fluff and homemade whipped cream for a hauntingly good experience you’ll love!
Brown Butter Cake
Whipped Cream & Assembly
Mix together and bake in oven at 350ºF.
Cook mixture to 240ºF in a small pot or saucepan using a candy thermometer.
Whip to soft peaks before adding very slowly the above sugar syrup.
Continue whipping mixture until stiff peaks.
For assembly: Place a small round (any desired shape of cake on a plate). If desired add a few drops of any preferred liquor to the top of the cake (optional). Top cake with your favourite ice cream scoop. Pipe Fluff all over dessert (in any manner you like).
Using a blow torch or the broiler setting of the oven, colour fluff quickly (so as not to melt the ice cream).
Serve immediately to anyone that isn’t afraid of no ghost!
