Hot Chocolate

Come in from the cold and sip on Chuck Hughes' creamy and warm hot chocolate with an added espresso pick-me-up.

Directions for: Hot Chocolate


2 cup milk (500 ml)

2 cup 35% cream (500 ml)

⅓ cup powdered sugar (80 ml)

2 cup chopped dark chocolate (500 ml)

½ cup espresso (125 ml)


1. In a saucepan on medium high heat, heat the milk, cream, espresso and powdered sugar together. Use a whisk to dissolve the sugar. Add the chopped chocolate and stir until smooth. Divide into 4 mugs. Garnish with marshmallow (check out Chuck’s recipe).
