cup (250 ml) All-Bran Original* cereal

cup (150 ml) boiling water
⅔
cup (150 ml) all-purpose flour

cup (75 ml) cocoa

tsp (1 ml) salt

cup (125 ml) oil

cup (400 ml) granulated sugar

tsp (5 ml) vanilla

cup (150 ml) semi sweet chocolate chips

Step 1
In large bowl, stir together cereal and boiling water. Let stand 5 minutes or until cereal softens.
Step 2
In medium bowl, mix together flour, cocoa and salt. Set aside.
Step 3
Stir eggs, oil, sugar and vanilla into softened cereal; mix well. Stir in flour mixture until well combined. Stir in chocolate chips.
Step 4
Spread batter in 33 x 23 cm (13 x 9-inch) baking pan sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Bake at 180ºC (350ºF) for 20 to 22 minutes, until centre gives slightly when touched with finger. (Do not over bake.) Let cool completely before cutting.
Step 5
Sift cocoa through mesh sieve to remove lumps before adding to flour.
