Ingredients

cup white wine vinegar
cup dry white wine
1
shallot, minced
Salt and pepper
1
cup butter, but into pieces

Directions

Step 1

Boil the vinegar, wine and shallot to 3 tablespoons. Remove from the heat and beat in the butter a piece at a time. Season with pepper. Strain and serve.
