No-Bake Wormy Cheesecake Cups

Set aside 2 hours to chill these creamy treats studded with squiggly gummy goodies.

20 vanilla wafer cookies
1 7 g pack unflavoured gelatin powder
⅓ cup just-boiled water
½ cup whipping cream (35% cream)
8 oz cream cheese, softened
½ cup white sugar
1 cup vanilla yogurt
40 gummy worms (about 3/4 lb.) cut in halves (use plain, not sugar-coated)
1. Line 20 muffin tins with paper cupcake liners. Place vanilla wafer cookie in bottom of each cup. Put just-boiled water into heatproof cup.
2. Sprinkle gelatin powder into the hot water. Mash out any gelatin lumps with back of teaspoon. Set aside to cool to room temperature. In bowl, using electric mixer, beat whipping cream until fluffy. Set aside.
3. In separate bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually beat in sugar and yogurt until smooth. Fold whipped cream and reserved gelatin mixture into cream cheese mixture to form batter. Overlap 3 worm halves on top of the wafer cookies in each paper liner. Spoon batter over top. Garnish each with a worm.
4. Chill 2 hours before serving.
