Wrap each scallop in a proscuitto strip and place it, seam-side down, on the baking sheet. Bake the scallops 5 minutes; brush them with the orange-balsamic syrup and roast until cooked through, 2–3 minutes more. Brush the scallops with any remaining syrup just before serving.
