ingredients

portabello mushrooms, stems and gills removed
2
cloves of garlic, thinly sliced
8
sprig fresh thyme
¾
cup olive oil

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 2

On a baking sheet or in a roasting pan, place mushroom caps cut side up. Sprinkle each cap with garlic slices and thyme. Generously pour over olive oil to coat all caps and season with salt and pepper. Roast in the oven until tender.

Step 3

Remove from the oven and allow to cool. Remove garlic and thyme and reheat to serve.
