A delicious way to get kids to eat salmon’s healthy Omega 3 oils.

Directions for: Salmon Salad Pitas


1 can salmon, drained, skin discarded

3 Tbsp finely chopped celery

2 Tbsp roasted, unsalted sunflower seeds

2 Tbsp mayonnaise or whipped dressing

1 tsp lemon juice

pinch pepper

2 small pita breads (4-inches diameter)


1. In bowl, mix together salmon, celery, sunflower seeds, mayonnaise or whipped dressing, lemon juice and pepper until salmon is well coated with mayonnaise (or dressing).

2. Cut pita breads in half and carefully open pockets.

3. Fill with salmon salad.
