Directions for: Scalloped Potato Gratin


4 baker potatoes, unpeeled, sliced thinly

1 cup of milk

1 cup of cream

¼ tsp of nutmeg

½ cup of cheddar cheese

Salt and pepper

1 clove of garlic, cut in half

1 Tbsp of butter

1 cup of breadcrumbs


1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Toss together potatoes, milk cream, nutmeg, cheese and salt and pepper until well coated.

3. Rub a 9-inch by 9 inch baking dish with butter and garlic clove. Pour in potatoes and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.

4. Bake for one and a half hours, until bubbling and potatoes are tender.
